As part of the Protect KU plan, KU Marketing Communications has released new tools to help campus communicators promote healthy practices during COVID-19.
First up: the Protect KU tool kit. With instructional posters and signage, a health-themed icon pack, and a Protect KU wordmark, this downloadable package can be used across most campus common spaces and social media communications.
These materials aren’t meant to replace the directional campus signage already put in place by KU Operations. Rather, we created the tool kit to supplement it, and to be used at each unit’s discretion in their work or learning environments. Look for it and more useful assets in our brand downloads center.
We’ve also added three new photo collections to our university photo library. First is Protect KU: Healthy Habits — simple depictions of the items and behaviors associated with self-care amid COVID-19. Next is Remote and Online Learning: 2020, featuring students in engaged in online learning. Finally, there’s Protect KU: Students on Campus, which depicts masked students in physically distanced social situations around campus. All photos are downloadable and free to use by students, faculty, and staff.
As we move into the fall semester, and as KU’s response to COVID-19 evolves, we’ll continue to provide useful tools and materials for communicators. Together, we can work toward a safer, healthier campus community.
